- Sign up to the Her Strength Membership – which is a subscription membership. This will give you instant access to the Strong Summer workouts AS WELL AS the whole of the Her Strength fitness platform, this includes:

All the workouts can be followed with minimal home fitness equipment.
Not all workouts use all equipment – most workouts just use one or two items of equipment – there’s also a whole series of zero equipment workouts.
There are some workouts which use no equipment at all, some with only use resistance bands, some which only use dumbbells. So loads you can be getting on with if you don’t have equipment.
Equipment used:
- A set or two of dumbbells – start with what you have and go from there – you may want to increase your weights over time as you get stronger and invest in a heavier set of dumbbells, but don’t let that stop you from starting. Start with what you have – it could even be water bottles or tin cans. It’s handy to have a slightly ligter set for the upper body (say 2-5Kgs) and a slightly heavier set for the lower body (say 5-10Kgs).
- Mini loop resistance band – if you don’t have this, you can follow the workouts without the band and work on strong connection to the muscles as you move. If you have a long band, could you tie it to make a smaller loop?
- Long loop resistance band – for some of the workouts.
- Something to be your fitness step/bench. If you don’t have a fitness step/bench you can use the side of a sturdy coffee table, footstool, sofa, dining chair etc.
The workout vary in length, to give you lots of variety.
Most of the workouts are between 20 & 35mins.
There is a series of shorter 10/15min workouts, and some of the whole body workouts go up to ~40mins.
But the vast majority range between 20-35mins.
Yes, absolutely.
The workouts are all scaleable – in that I coach them to time – usually 45seconds per exercise – so within that time, you can go entirely at your own pace, and use the resistance level appropriate for you (dumbbell or band or body weight only). This means you can scale them up or down depending on your fitness / strength / experience level.
I coach you all the way through every exercise of every workout – as if you have a PT in front of you explaining, demonstrating and troubleshooting – and giving scaled exercise options. So if you are more of a beginner you can really learn great technique as you go.
None of the exercises are overly complex or choreographed! I mainly build the workouts around basic movements that are easy to emulate following my demonstration and instruction in the videos.
There are also many workouts which are shorter in duration if you’re new to your fitness journey and want to start small and gradually build the little-and-often fitness habit.
Due to the nature of it being a digital product that you have complete and unlimited access to from the date of purchase, we do not provide refunds.
If you are a subscription member you are able to cancel.
If you are on the monthly membership you can cancel your subscription at any time via the ‘subscriptions’ area of your Her Strength account to stop the next payment being taken at the end of the billing period.
If you are on the annual subscription membership, your subscription payment will be debited once, annually – once this has occurred a refund or any partial refund will not be given. But you can cancel at anytime prior to the next annual payment being taken via the ‘subscriptions’ area of your Her Strength account.
N.B. when you sign up to the Her Strength Membership, you get a 7 day free trial – no money is taken until the 7day free trial period ends. You can cancel at anytime before the 7day free trial period ends completely free of charge.

The £79 for 40 workouts makes it less than £2 per workout! Or you can think of it as £6.58 per week – the price of a coffee & pastry at a cafe.
I would hope if I were to train you through a workout as a PT you would value that at more than £2 🙂

I can highly recommend Lucy’s Her Strength fitness platform. I’d been using another fitness platform for some time, so it took me a little while to decide to switch: I haven’t looked back! There are a huge number of workouts to choose from and they’re continually added to. Plus, Lucy’s encouragement and tips to make the particular exercises as effective as possible are exactly what you need when working out at home.
Personally, I particularly like the structured courses. I love that I don’t have to think about which workout to do that day and whether I’ve covered all the right muscle groups throughout the week. I tend to do a course during term time, but then I know I have a variety of workouts that I can dip into during the busier holidays when I don’t necessarily have as much time. I’ve even managed to do some of the 10 min blitz/no equipment workouts while away!
